For those of you following us on Instagram (@healthsynergy), you may have noticed us mentioning @proplenish in numerous posts, particularly our smoothies and nice creams. After experiencing the benefits of this product, we decided it was time to share some information about it – what it is, why we love it and how you can incorporate it into your daily regime.
What is it?
ProPlenish is an Australian beauty supplement that tackles signs of ageing from the inside.
Collagen is a naturally occurring protein within the body, essential for maintaining the overall health of our connective tissue. However, as we get older (from our 20s onwards), the rate of natural collagen production slows down. By incorporating ProPlenish marine collagen into your daily routine, you can boost natural collagen levels for glowing skin, healthy hair and strong nails. Collagen can also assist with lean muscle gain and tone as well as joint integrity.
Why we choose ProPlenish
As we’ve said before, the quality of the products we align ourselves with is high priority, along with ethics and sustainability. In terms of the latter it is good to know that the marine collagen in ProPlenish is sourced from wild caught deep sea fish, respecting sustainable fishing methods. There is also no animal testing involved.
ProPlenish has been rigorously tested with results of clinical trials published in scientific journals. These results are impressive, demonstrating dramatic improvements in skin hydration, elasticity, strength and collagen content, reducing signs of ageing and sun damage. Numerous testimonials also espouse the improvements noticed in hair and nails.
For the past two months, we have been adding 1-2 tablespoons of marine collagen to our morning acai bowls and we have noticed a significant difference to the health of our hair, skin and nails. It goes to show that this product is beneficial for many age groups as since using this product, I (in my 20s) have experienced clearer, more hydrated skin and stronger nails and my mum (in her 50s) has noticed a difference in the elasticity of her skin and thickness of her hair.
Another great thing about this product is that it is so easy to incorporate into your diet. By adding it to smoothies (as we do), it boosts your collagen levels (as well as stimulating the natural production of collagen), helping to nourish and restore your body with the nutrients it requires for a more youthful complexion.
Here is our daily acai bowl recipe with the nutrient boost of ProPlenish.
